Antler Lamps Don't Harm Animals

Animal protection is vital to mankind's existence and harmony with Mother Nature.

Elk antlers for making antler lampsSome misinformed animal rights activists will not buy antler lamps. Their belief is that we should not patronize any product that come from animals that are killed or hurt in the process of making those items. Their goals are to keep animals safe through animal rights protection. And rightly so! Animal protection, especially when it comes to endangered species is vital to mankind's existence and harmony with Mother Nature. However, when it comes to antler decor, they need to look a little farther.

Deer, elk and moose loose their horns once every year. The antler decor industry gets its raw materials from people who scour the woods at that time and collect shed horns to sell. In the factory, antlers are grouped according to their size, shape, and Antler Lampcolor before they are crafted into antler light fixtures, antler chandeliers, antler wall mounts, antler floor lamps, and antler wine racks.

Fortunately our animal friends in the forest, which shed their horns to make these beautiful creations, will start growing new horns at the beginning of next spring. Those of us that love animals can stop worrying about harming them and start looking at antler decor as a tribute to the majestic beauty of deer, elk and moose instead.
